“Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.””
—Matthew 10:40-42 NIV
See = Believe
Today I will share with your eyes something that will bring increase to your mind, body & soul.
This passage above from Matthew who is a trusted representative in the house of God explains to us the words from Jesus Himself. That scripture shines the light on our understanding that LOVE (God) is in the nature of a human being; pay attention to their nature because that will prove to you the truth of those who are God’s children.
Just allow all of what you do & say to be given out of love. Because whatever you intend to do will always be revealed. What’s done in the physical realm is a reflection of the truth that is inside of you. Like the saying goes, “what’s done in the dark will always come to light.”
That’s an example of what it means to be of God. He is Love. His nature is Loving. His intentions are out of love. Although discipline may hurt, it is for our own good.
We don’t have to be perfect beings to please Him, we just have to want to be the best person we can be right now & moving forward as long as we live. The only being that was perfect & flawless was God coming down in the flesh; Jesus.
To follow His commands are not an easy task. But to have the desire to do so is what makes us pleasing to Him. Our mind that is focused on doing what the Holy Spirit desires shows that what you truly intend to do is ACT OUT OF LOVE.
Practice mutual reciprocation. Always seek to be a better person. As people to love, help & encourage one another is a perfect life. So start with you: Treat others as you would like to be treated.
Because to GIVE is to RECEIVE.
Let that sink in…
I love you all grace & peace be with you from God be the glory, Amen.
